What if I called you dumb?
Would you realize that I even meant it?
Or would you struggle aimlessly wondering if this was some sort of joke, laugh with an empty grin, then say 'yeah, ok'?
Once you took me seriously, would you try to prove me wrong?
'Cause I'm not telling you to insult you, it would be fruitless and the conversation would be too long.
I'm telling you this because that with the vastness of our universe and the seemingly endless adventures that still await, we know nothing. We are........ nothing.
At least in the grand scheme of things, we consist of about the same mass and carry as much impact as a single bacteria in the urinal of the bar.
We all have that potential to infect, though.
But, the travel from the bottom of that basin to your potential host is undeniably far.
Even if you do make it, what impact will you have, as a single bacteria?
What variables will take place that will hinder your growth and potential?
Maybe the host won't wash his hands. For your survival, it's essential
Even if you settle down and call this home, how far have you gone?
You barely explored a single skin cell.
This is you in a world undiscovered,
and eventually your experiences can help the next offspring understand a little more,
But there just won't be enough time to travel beyond your new small world on your own,
to really get to see your impact.
You're ignorant to everything that's about to happen with what you've started.
You're dumb, what of this world do you really know?
What have you seen to believe with your own eyes?
What can you share and what will you leave as a surprise?
See, I'm not trying to insult.
I'm not trying to look down or be relative,
But with every breath we gain very little as a result.
So, I'm not trying to be argumentative.
I see it as a compliment.
You have a lot to explore.
How good can that get!
That every day..... there is always something....more!
